Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Oracle’s “Special” Seattle Millenials

They are a very homogenous bunch. Bearded, thick plastic geek goggles with coke-bottle lenses, odd plaid pants and weird hipster shoes, smelly body odor, high water pants that are 2-4 inches too short, often with man buns and other hairdo oddities. Some you can’t tell if they are male or female.

You don’t see these types at HQ, even over at Oracle Plaza where the Millenial sales people are. They are normal people, graduates from good universities without all of the Seattle hipster nonsense.

If LE or MH visited the Seattle office, they’d both find a way to close it down within a matter of months.

There’s still a few buildings occupied by Oracle in the Santa Clara campus - the For Lease sign is for the other 3/4ths of the campus that’s been empty almost two years now.

Did they shut down the Santa Clara campus? I see a For Lease sign up at one of the entrances to the parking lot.

Those would be the Oracle "Design" wanquers. White make with beard types. Google "LEGO TED Talks" for your career move playbook if interested.
