In GTS, Cloud Services. Current group is spread across India and the US, but most are in India. Cuts were made only on the US side - no one from offshore affected. Work to be transitioned to the offshore team.

1ean. Were you out on vacation last week? When layoffs came thru our dept, the manager was not allowed to lay you off if you were on vacation. They had to wait until you came back to tell you the news

Just got laid off. Dubuque,Iowa. They are just getting started for this week. But Monday lay-off is unusual

Sad that U.S. Workforce has been wiped-out and no need to even replace in Sweatshop slave labor camps in "emerging" markets. Since Corp USA just brings them over on work Visas. Assuming another huge RA pending to cut payroll to accommodate Red Hat workforce due to redundancy.

yeah, they should start reporting numbers in this way. so if we have 50k workers in the usa, and they cut 5k it should be noted that 10% was aexed. instead, they compare it to 350 world wide and it's just 1.5% no big deal. where in reallity they are decimating the domestic workforce.
