Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

WFH

HON had zero WFH at all and some in Aero are actually being RIFed for doing it. There was no tolerance for it. REZI is going back to the old approach where an employee can just work with their manager when they need to

WFH, which is what most companies do. And then are plenty of remote workers within REZI whose office is their home. So it’s not at all the HON policy.

Know of a few people working from home regularly. Manager just doesn't do the required HR mandated, signed agreement or anything so it's all off the books. Which in turn means HR is also not monitoring remote connection hours to analyze any regularity of wfh. So loophole being used widely likely. So if your manager likes you, there's a way to still wfh often.

REZI is not letting WFH...as a matter of fact they are RIFing people based on this as well as other things but this is one of the reasons. project "Z" and it starts this week.

Bottom line is that you work for your manager. Do what is right and be part of the team. If you don’t have a local team look for a job quick. If you are a T5 mgr you only exist to protect the T4... look for a job. If you work anywhere in North America you are overpaid and need to look for a job. If you work in aero HTS come join me at Boeing. Best move I ever made.
