My leaves over 31 years were not deducted from my severance.

They calculate based on your last 12 weeks worked with the company. This includes any benefit hours you may have used.

One week for every full year worked from your anniversary date. You have to minus any LOA's because that is not a full year worked. So if you just passed 10 years and had one LOA, you would get 9 weeks. If you are PT you need to have been with the company 5 years. FT needs to be with the company 1 year.
