The only thing these latest changes are achieving is a mass exodus of our best employees.
I understand that might have been the point, but it will backfire.
Those on top will have to realize sooner or later that profit at all cost will end up destroying the company in the end. And that means there will be no profit for anybody anymore, including them.
But by then it'll be too late, sadly.
They are destroying a good company with this block scheduling, reduction of key positions and a heavier workload for the COS's and managers. Two of our managers have already left and the two replacements won't last since they are overwhelmed already. How many young people, people with spouses or just anyone wants to work until 11:30 PM or get up at 3 AM or earlier to be at Sam's by 4 AM? If they wanted to work that kind of shift they would be working at a factory for Union wages. That is what many of our staff are doing and there are several companies like that in town that are currently hiring. I was planning on working a couple of more years either full or part time but I can't be on my feet all day walking around that massive building. SO, see ya!

Yes they want experienced associates gone. Most have been with the company 15 plus years and make a decent wage. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED on there part. Shareholders dont give a damn how they treat there employees as long as the money continues rolling in.
Share holders took home 13.9 BILLION dollars last year. They're not worried. They are laughing at us low lives and enjoying several beach vacations a year.
