I know alot of people dont give a sh-- about this...neither do i really...but after looking at the pictures of the shareholders meeting on the wire, Im genuinely curiois about who picks the people who go? Or do you have to sign up to go? Is it for the associates that hold the most stock with the company?? Does the company pay for u if u go? Again, just really curious as to who the people are that actually go. If you knwo the answers, id appreciate it

Your GM picks who goes . So if you are not a pet than you don’t go .
I like the ideal of the Associate of the Year .
It is a pretty neat & fun thing to go too . You learn a lot about the company and the music & special guest are always awesome
All the above is a lie! You have to be the pet. Usually it's the same ones over and over. I have seen some not own any stock. It's a big rah rah. Associates are very unrepresented. It's a great big waste of money! But it is a tax write off.
We have sent the associate of the year. All paid trip. Everyone got a Fitbit this year.
Ours tried teamleads. Then it tried associate of the previous year. If they weren't a shareholder they made them sign up if they wanted to go to it. Yes its completely paid for. Plane, parking, luggage, food and plenty of freebies.
There are a few factors involved in who is chosen for shareholders.
If you will represent your club well, if you are an asset to your department and ideally your department is up in sales, your annual eval, etc.
Ultimately it is sole decision of your club manager. Chances are, if you dont tell them you want to go, you won't even be considered unless you gave a proactive GM.
If you are a shareholder in your club, the managers will ask you if you would like to go and represent your club. In the past few years my club sent non team leads to this event. Our club was represented well each year. Yes. The company pays for this exciting event. Our associates always bring back the hi-lites and pictures to share!
