Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Interesting responses and we're always told that those are corporate rules. Our walkies are missing the talk buttons on at least half of them and also are missing the clips. Open/c lose signs have been removed at all checkouts. If rewards are handed out for credits and upgrades, it is a candy bar or some other club snack. Same here for the wire but I was referring to the "big" articles. SC is never mentioned. I appreciate your return comments!!!

Does everything have to come out of the carts in regular checkout but in self checkout members can leave everything in the cart? - NOT AT OUR CLUB. ONLY THE SMALL STUFF NEEDS TO COME OUT

Do so many work necessities (i.e. club walkies, self checkout screens freeze so often). I have heard they are finally going to have a more efficient way to handle over rides on age restricted purchases. WALKIES CAN'T FREEZE. I DON'T REMEMBER HAVING TOO MANY PROBLEMS WITH SELF CHECKOUTS, WHEN WE DO, WE CALL NCR AND THEY WALK US THROUGH A FIX

Have "open" and "closed" signs been removed from regular registers - this causes a lot of confusion for members trying to checkout. NOT THAT I'M AWARE OF AND I AM A CASHIER

Does Sam's Club allow multiple people to checkout with the same membership? They push for new memberships, upgrades and credit cards instead of controlling the number of people using the same account. MEMBERS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ALLOWED TO BRING FRIENDS WITH THEM TO SHOP. THE CARD HOLDER HAS TO BE PRESENT. OTHERWISE WE TURN THEM AWAY - AT LEAST WE DO AT OUR STORE

Don't they acknowledge "jobs well done" with rewards like a extra break, a Sam's gift card, free lunch at cafe? These are small examples of saying we recognize and appreciate your good work and attitude. WE GET REWARDS FOR GETTING PLUSES AND CREDITS. MY LUNCHES ARE FREE BECAUSE OF THE REWARDS

The "clubwire" only focuses on Walmart and then I'm left to wonder how that effects SC associates. THE ONLY THING I LOOK AT ON THE WIRE IS MY SCHEDULE AND MY PAYCHECK.
