You can use protected pto for those days. It isnt 2 points if you use protected. I read over the policy.

Memo came out today, each club depending on their on hands will be providing a fireworks show back behind Receiving.the night of July 4th. Top preforming clubs while be joined by Fire Marshall Bill from the TV show “In Living Color”. The fireworks will be placed on top of the oldest DC trailer that’s been sitting back in Receiving waiting to be unloaded. Cafe will have a special for ‘1 they will be selling a churro with a sparkler inside it. Anyone upgrading their membership that day will receive 4 M80 fireworks. Short fuse no charge.
Merchandise works until 11:30 that night and it's 2 points if you call in on July 3, 4 or 5

Why call off. Just leave 2 hrs early. Use protected PTO. Still be home in time for fireworks. Points dont double for tardy. Kist a full day call off. Would only be .5 point anyway.
