Another part of the IBM legacy leaves Endicott: i3 sells circuit board technology

i3 blamed the deteriorating conditions in the business on softening demand "as final production for its

largest customer in Endicott was completed."When the former Endicott Interconnect acquired IBM's

former Microelectronics division operations in Endicott in 2002, this was a key part of the business

transferred to the new owners. IBM guaranteed five years of work for these complex assemblies but

continued its vendor agreement through this year. IBM has apparently found another supplier for the

high-priced components.

I wonder in what country this other supplier is based?
