Bob, I do think a lot of people are trying their best to their jobs

Bob,

I do think a lot of people are trying their best to their jobs. However, a lot of managers will find the littlest things to write the employees up about. For instance, if someone is making calls, and talking on the phone - what is the reason to receive a write up about talk time and dials, but when the employee asks what the expectations are, they literally say just to call students. If someone is getting written up about that, but not given the reasons they didn't meet the expectations - what does that say? That wasn't with me, but I have heard of a few people that did happen with. Also, a lot of managers are bringing up the competencies, but when asked to explain those things, they really can't. I understand that because this is a new system, and I understand that company is working on getting things to move forward - but still. The reactions from managers and directors cause a lot of stress for the workers who ARE attempting to do their jobs. While I haven't had any negative things, little comments from my manager are bringing me to no longer want to be there. I used to really appreciate this job, and of course working with people to gain an education. However, now - I wish I could escape from my manager who makes comments to me and others to make a change - but he can't explain what the change needs to be. So - how can anyone change without given the expectations that the manager does expect?
