There are many students that drop after the first day because the correct expectations were not set - the EA didn't really take the time to understand the student's needs (non-degree) and so the student just dropped...this happens about 35% of the time with non-degree students - maybe a little less - but students think that it's going to be so easy to take an online class and again, it starts with the EA's - setting the right expectations - but students don't really listen either ....they just get in and then find out - workshops need to be mandatory on the non-degree side if they are new students...duh!!!
