Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

a reply to the question of working in this industry...don't. I was an online graduate instructor at UOP for about 4 years. During this period UOP was like junior high school. I tried to flunk students who copied right off the internet and was not allowed to do so...cheating is OK. UOP is a joke that is hurting many. Some of my graduate MBA students couldn't even write a complete sentence...not even high school level...but A students in UOP's MBA program. My background includes a BS Chem Eng, MBA, and JD...all from state universities. I think that UOP grew too fast with inexperience at the controls...they chased profits at the expense of education. At the top UOP's behavior should be criminal. J. Sperling continues to sell his stock...nearly a billion dollars of student's loans into his pocket...I hope that ripped off students get the pitchforks and visit his mansion first!
