whats "retarded" is the amount of shit dm's have to do endlessly that keeps us out of stores. Every time I try to get on that floor home office and / or a corporate responsibility is piled on my lap. I will be damned but for some reason they make it impossible to do what DM's do best. Lets instead put them in charge of sales plans (did we apply for that job? NO for good reason) how bout hours- (again...not our forte but lets be told to sit and request more hours if we need them in email format) ok let's be allocations and build email after email full of merchandise requests....wait....now we need you to email product info and not only do an SPR but painstakingly enter it in to the computer (more time off the floor vs. a speedy fax like most companys). Ok now check time sheets for 9-12 stores every day because the system does not do the job most retail systems do....Now (not exaggerating) after all this is done...you have about an hour left. but wait...if you are a large area district calculate 2-4+ hours drive time in between stores.

This coupled with....why haven't you coached? hired? created amazing teams on 6-20 training hours per new hire? the old time DM's are now so desensitized to the madness that they think this is normal.They think it is normal that pers files are incomplete in about 95% of the districts and they do not blame the system but rather the DM.

I left because I could not do my job....and my managers were saying :"you arent holding so and so accountable" well my answer is "really? I dont have time to breathe...excuse me...I need to get on the computer so I dont get put on a non-compliant list"
