Some Heald college instructors have told administration that the moment admissions gets involved in faculty reviews then they are going to start telling the truth. One instructor has been told by administration that he will be laid off at the end of the quarter and will be getting a pay raise by filing for unemployment.
None of the adjunct faculty at Heald care anymore. You are only paid $2000 per course and unless you can get to teach 3 or more courses then it is hardly worth the effort. More than one Heald instructor has told administration "Enough is enough. I am not going to be spending hours and hours making phone calls tracking students. This whole place is a joke". The usual result is for the instructor to finish out the quarter and not get his contract renewed.
