Student retention should be everyone's concern, from the faculty on down to the support and sales personnel

Student retention should be everyone's concern, from the faculty on down to the support and sales personnel. The biggest obstacle to student retention at CCI (all brands) is that the sales personnel aren't capable of recruiting students who can do the work. That's why the sales personnel come and go like a revolving door, but we have faculty who have been around for over 20 years. I'm not sure I'd refer to folks who have been around for two decades as being at the bottom of any food chain. Think about how much money we've made in that time, and it's easy work. It's not like teaching at a regionally accredited non-profit university (which most of us also do) where we have to publish, speak at conferences, serve on academic committees, and do other "real" work. Here, we just facilitate and do our best with the students we have, and watch those direct deposits roll in.
