As a SR EA that was let go yesterday I can speak of the so called "generous" severance package we got. If you were with UOP for 2 or more years you get 6 weeks severance. Also, if you're in a degree program you get 1 more year of education benefits. I was with the company for 4 1/2 years and can honestly say I was a top performer and I feel absolutely disgusted by how I was treated in this situation. Their severance package is a joke, by the way.
