Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

So instead of doing a full restructure you have staff sitting here being told their campus is closing. They don't know when. They don't know when they will be terminated. They don't know what to expect. They aren't being told anything. They can't enroll to the campus as they always have. And now there are whispers that the terminations will start to be performance terminations. How can you fire someone after cutting off their lead flow and telling them their location is closed. The people remaining at a location will now compete with the online enrollment in Phoenix. They don't need both. So why are we here. It is truly disgusting. And it is sad to be treated this way after a lot of hard work and hours put into working here. It is sad to see people saying bye and walking out the door. But at least they were giving the respect of termination with a package. We will have cruel business tricks played on the remaining.
