Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

What goes around comes around as the good book says. I am a former CEL almost 7 years and judging form the comments ( not the hate or expletive ones ) it seems that the work culture did not change over the last 2 years since my firing. A great concept became greedy and corrupt and unless you excepted the "water cooler" mentality your days were numbered. The only way this school will continue is either thru an acquisition/merger and it continues to attempt to grow int'l and push for the military buck. I always felt the idea of ground campuses was too aggressive and they put to much emphasis on their expansion. Very poor management. Also the Sperling's made sure they took care of themselves before the botton began to fall out. I still have some former peers there and I hope they have prepared or insulated themselves form the fallout.
