Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

The real deal is that much of what has been happening since 2009 has not been fair. The entire education system changed and the truth is that the government is on a for profit witch hunt. And the biggest name in the industry is UoP. Many of the students and graduates are pretty smart. So the poster that thinks that they are stupid should learn a bit more about the institution. I think it is sad that employees have to be dragged through the changes. And to the person that asked about severance packages: get real. They will be walking folks out the door or looking for reasons to make you go shortly. They have been paying the 'leadership' millions to do all the things they have done and they don't have money left over to pay the peons after their years of service. Look over all the US companies in the same situation and see the organizations being raped by big business at the top and leaving the employees broke, pensionless, etc. Expect nothing and pray now.
