“Harris CapRock acquires Ultra Teleports, Perth for $2M USD”

Pros – Allowed us to move out of the Bayswater warehouse from where we have been based for the last 5 years (next to the portable toilet company on one side and the cabinet makers on the other side!!).
Cons – One of the key members of staff (Senior Field Tech.) that has been asked to stay with the teleport has already rejected the offer - as he does not want to work for Harris CapRock.
The other key member of staff Ultra Teleports Business Development Director, accepted a position at RigNet (Australia).
Newsat (Harris CapRock’s current teleport partner) will now have a real competitor in the Perth, Teleport space, which they could loose future business to.
Existing Ultra Teleport customer contracts will need to be moved over to Harris CapRock and Harris CapRock’s competitors who are currently using the Ultra teleport, will probably have to move their hubs and equipment out of the teleport in the next few months!
