Unfortunately the industry has changed for Follett and they are unable to adapt. They are losing market share and sales are declining. Their IT systems are behind especially in the POS and MMS PO systems. They haven't been upgraded for years. They cannot complete with Amazon and many of the smaller players. IncludED is not the answer and will fail once students understand that it is nothing more than lock-in and preventing fair, open competition. Laid off on 3/27 and probably for the best.
