Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Those who are making the racist and sexist remarks are obviously here to distract attention for the true issues. However, their sick posts and continued harassment of this website and its readers clearly demonstrates that the Apollo Group/UoP cabal has some very ill-minded and unbalanced people within the company. However, their racist and sexist posts only add credibility to the legitimate posts on this site concerning poor working conditions, low morale, dishonest business tactics, and widespread suspicions. For example, we are hearing that some campuses, fearing June will bring widespread layoffs, are quickly moving their employees from learning centers and campuses that have been slated for “phase-outs” to those learning centers and campuses that are scheduled to continue operation. It is being said that they are quietly making this hasty shuffle before June because of fear that layoffs will happen by location or specialty instead of individual employee productivity and contribution. If this is truly the case, clearly the motivation behind these actions demonstrates the level of mistrust most employees and managers hold for the company and its leadership. The ship is not sinking. It’s sunk. The only question that remains is who made it to the life rafts and who got off the ship in time. Still it is interesting to remember Apollo Group/UoP was built and thrived upon using illegal business tactics. Today, the company’s leadership is showing how heavily it relied on questionable business tactics to survive. Without those tactics, the company and its leadership are lost.
