Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Again, the racists and sexist remarks posted here are clearly from the mind of a child of Cain practicing his or her “craft” of offense, diversion, and agitation because he or she or it is need of attention. Although those posts are distracting, try to ignore them by remembering it’s your attention they need. They seek to discredit this website and divert attention from the true issue. Therefore when reading such posts remember two simple facts: small minds cannot hold large ideas and ignorance is always loud and obnoxious because it can't intelligently express itself any other way. So back to the true topic and purpose of this site . . . Interestingly ApolloGroup/UoP execs reportedly are paid nearly $100,000 per month with yearly bonuses in the millions while they cut staff, close campuses, reduce employee benefits, and place students in cheap motel rooms for classes. It is doubtful that any accrediting body or the Department of Education has the guts to stand up to the Apollo Group/UoP. In reality, we know the Apollo Group/UoP pretty much owns the Higher Learning Commission and the Department of Education. For example, one of our top executives even publicly laughed at the idea HLC or the DoE would do anything to Apollo Group/UoP. “They’re not crazy,” he said. However, if Apollo Group/UoP is finally put to rest by either government action or its own greed and mismanagement, it would be a great event because it would allow us the freedom to leave this nightmare behind, and then take a deep breath, shower and walk away to join legitimate organizations. Those of us who really cared about the job we did, the school, our students, and our coworkers took a concept that people laughed at and we made it an acceptable part of American culture. In other words, we kicked ass all while being abused, cheated, harassed, demoralized, intimidated, deceived, swindled, ripped-off, and mentally raped by the Apollo Group and their minion of greedy and psychotic UoP leaders. We watched the lives of our friends/co-worker and our students be destroyed by this organization. Hopefully, HLC and the DoE will find a sliver or crumb of courage to at least slap . .. that is, tap Apollo Group/UoP on the hand.
