Executive management has made several poor decisions that they continue to shift the blame onto front-line employees for. The environment is chaotic, uninspired and reactive. Directors are useless and were most likely promoted due to being there at the right time. Managers are forced to deliver bad news to employees on a weekly basis regarding lack of career opportunities, dwindling leads or performance issues yet the company refuses to pay top performers for their hard work. If you have a solid work ethic and you already have advanced degrees do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a position. This place is an after high school starter job and nothing more. I left UOP just recently to go work for GoDaddy that the environment is so much better. It is a great feeling knowing that I am actually valued now and have opportunity for growth.
