I can confirm over 100 people were let go here in IT today (St Pete) - nothing to do with performance, nothing to do with redundancies - they mainly targeted folks with longer tenure that were typically better paid if compared to the newer guys. I heard rumors that they are planning to outsource more than 50% of the positions here in St Pete - today's move is certainly making this rumor more realistic (at least in my eyes).
