I blame the directors and up, including susan.opp. Her husband evan.deneris reports to her. She is violating the policy that states that there has to be at least two levels of management between family members and family members cannot report to family members. Last time I read it there was no fine print that states sue is exempt from that. So if she can violate company policy, why should anyone else follow any of the policies? that's why the eitings, the gibsons, the childs', etc are able to get away with hiring their family members whether they are right for the job or even qualified. As long as Presidents, VPs, Sr. Directors, Directors and managers are allowed to hire their family members and buddies, nepotism will continue to be the controlling factor with everything that happens at CSW, SLC. For example, PDAs; managers with employees who are the son of a VP, will never get a bad PDA score regardless if they deserve it or not because the manager knows that the employee's dad will make their life miserable. And even if they tried to tell HR about this bullying, 1) there will not be enough evidence for HR to do anything about it, 2) even if there were enough evidence, either the VP will bully them also or someone in HR owes this VP a back scratch. So when layoffs happen that are based on PDA scores, you will never see an eiting, gibson, childs or deneris on these lists. This sends the message that unless you are blood related to any of the execs or have your lips firmly attached to their smoke hole, you will always have a job regardless if you do it or not. So no one should be surprised when we have ROVER6 quality problems and those numbers are doctored to match what the auditors want to see. See what I mean? This is the very reason why directors like rogersu did not fire 2 employees who cost the company $1.5M because they damaged a satellite trying to retaliate against each other. For stepheneiting to not even fire rogersu for allowing those 2 people to stay employeed, is a perfect example of how upper management has contributed to the issues we're facing. The only way to stop the nepotism at L-3 csw, slc is for upper management to grow an ethical spine and exercise it. It won't help the financial issues that we face due to the economy but it would certainly help make us a stronger, united company better equipped to survive the economic challenges we face AND not shoot us in the foot while Obama is crushing the other one.
