I worked for EDMC for 3 years. Rose through the ranks and was making 75k. I realized how shady the admissions dept really is. They HAVE TO MAKE PLAN. Which means each semester they have a quota of students that must be enrolled. NO MATTER WHAT. They dont care about the education, the faculty, nothing. The almighty dollar is all thats important. Admissions personel were paid by how many students they enrolled..it was called the Matrix. I left and went to medical school...I used EDMC they way they use students to get a real career.
Think about it,, Any school that calls you 5 times a day doesnt care what your grades are..they care about your Title IV funding. Please read carefully..THE SCHOOL IS NOT REAL...I SAY AGAIN,,THE SCHOOL IS NOT REAL..they took one of the most prestigeous schools in Pittsburgh and rolled it out online and trashed it by taking students who were incapable of passing. Some students had learning disabilities, psych issues..insane. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO ANY EDMC SCHOOLS..FOR PROFIT IS JUST THAT...FOR PROFIT!!
