God complex indeed, even though ut docs state a voluntary layoff agreement is still reduction in force. Take your pick in who you want to fight with i suppose. Fk 'em, they still have to send you on your way with $ if you get laid off and the burden is on employer. This is a weak package/offer and they know it.
