Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

The bottom line is the University of Phoenix created their own problems in part by not hiring the right people to do certain jobs. We talk about the lack of leadership but that is so true, hiring within has turned out to back fire over and over again with no real vision. Hiring strategic, business oriented individuals to lead is what was needed. The University of Phoenix has fallen too far behind. There are no real advantages to going to UOP versus another online school unless one cannot get accepted into a school of choice. All schools offer Career Service and planning, UOP thinks this is a new advantage, please. If there is any chance of survival the overall staff needs to be cut in 1/2 and the dummy managers and directors need to go. Enjoy.
