L3: So much for the layoffs at L3, DO NOT SPREAD HYPE: L-3 Communications (LLL), the sixth largest defense company in the United States, was raised to outperform by Credit Suisse around January 13, and after some of the great news that has come along with their Q4 earnings, it is well positioned to outperform the broader market. This industry is strong, has been strong over the last year, and will continue to be strong in 2009. What happened?
