Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

I have an idea: how about we get relevant information from our CEO instead of having to search through the online rumor mill. We never got an email officially telling us that CD was axed. Anyone who works for CHK knows that the next cut could be him or her. Everyone I work with is nervous. Everyone. Not all the cuts will be at the homeland in OKC... People here out in the plays have trouble focusing on their work when Doug sends out vague emails with "keep working" encouragements. If you don't like what you read here and want details, email Doug and ask him if YOU are going to have a job. Don't bother asking your boss if s/he knows what's going on, because Doug and the Anadarko execs are the only ones who know.
