Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

They could have asked the local community if they wanted to take over the responsibility of the garden. There are several people near by that do community gardening that probably would have loved that opportunity. Also, there are many many ways to have a garden setup to be somewhat self sustainable. Were they afraid the garden would be an eyesore? This is why we can't get anywhere significant in the way of teaching the community how to find our roots because it's not supported enough. I don't see why they had to empty out the garden area, except for it was the easiest thing to do. I bet the bathrooms are staying clean but the gardener is OUT....sad...
