Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

I worked at another oil company who had layoffs...those who volunteered where seen as high fliers (because they could easily get another job) and were not offered packages. One guy really really needed his job as he just started a family. He volunteered for a package and hence was taken off the severance list. Companies are funny and stupid at the same time
