Cutting the cost of certain groups of your empolyees makes much more sense then an actual stupid number. Hence the reason why they have gone to the far edges and easy trimming first like corp. dev., NGV, garden, etc. Then go for the big money....VPs. Next, the managers that stick around or don't get booted should be given a monetary number to get to for all their people. Now setting everyone in the asset teams is another thing. Who knows what we will look like after that!
