Thread regarding L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. layoffs

Can't help it, after spending the majority of my professional life working for a company, getting them through the rough times, skipping vacations so the project could meet schedule, working extra hours and spending less time with family just so the project would be on time. Now all that I have worked for is in jeopardy. My family's well being, my house, my retirement savings. So who really benefits in this case? Those people that think they are running a company? Even though, as everyone knows, the 3rd party evaluation showed that CSW is very management heavy, in some cases 2x as many managers over a similar functioning company. Why are managers not getting cut? Why do they get to keep their house, food on the table for their kids, and a new bright shiny car? If you are a worker bee, you need to seriously ask yourself why you are still there. It is very obvious that nothing is going to get any better any time soon. CSW has screwed its self for future business. The top execs have set it on a path for destruction. CSW cannot compete in the high volume business. With all the strict requirements the customers put on the products there is no way to meet them in a cheap handheld box. L3 was much better off when they were building low quantity million dollar boxes. So when you go home tonight, take a good look around at your family, your house and all that you have worked for and ask yourself if you want to stay on a sinking ship or move on.
