Here is what I am learning about the new management team and the new CHK

1 core values with management are just words. There is no open communication or integrity. The company should not have even started this open communication BS if they don't walk the talk

  1. People do not matter. People at CHK are just widgets

  2. Have not even heard from my new boss. Management does not care about the staff. More focused on kissing up to those higher in the food chain. Running the business does not matter and it will take care of itself

  3. Experience, knowledge or hard work does not count in the new. CHK. Management did not look at background or performance reviews when selecting people to promote. At least if I look to move companies I will have the opportunity to interview for a job and have my background considered

  4. With the new company I will have to spend 90% of my time schmoozing as doing my job well does not count for jack. It is all about who you know

6 people that were let go we're not treated with dignity or respect. They were immediately escorted out with no time to say so long. Their personal belongings were left behind and literally thrown into boxes without regard to breaking or damaging anything. Not all personal items were packed up so the departed had no way of retrieving them

  1. The new management seemed to forget that those let go worked hard to help CHK grow the best portfolio of assets in the Iindustry. The past work does not count for anything. Very few people at CHK were responsible for the high debt load of the company. However everyone here is treated as if we are guilty of some wrongdoing which we are not. It is guilt by association no matter how far removed the association really is
