Let me explain how reviews work… I personally knew (managed) someone that had well over 10 years of reviews ranging from 3.5-4.5. A few level 5 awards. Was very dedicated to their task. During the last year, she was giving a job that DEMANDED her to learn 10 new apps and work over 60 hours per week and on-call every other weekend and nights. She was expected to become a high level engineer of all these apps in 1 year… with no training mind you. Make a long story short, extremely small bonus, no raise, and a 2.5 rating. She was laid off. BTW… did I tell you she had to train a contractor the last 2 months of their career?
