Thread regarding L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. layoffs

I am a real employee and reading this comments have me dumbfounded. I see we have attracked a bunch of trolls here. Yes L3 has made some huge mistakes. I have been employeed there for 17 years and when I came on board there was no middle management. It only team leaders reporting to directors under the last president who did not believe in middle managment. Now it a tie between test and material management on who has the most supervisors and managers. Test has about one manager per 10 techs and Devin Allens group has one manager per every 7 employees. And they all charge overhead! Any wonder why we are now losing money? I heard recently that Val Snyder was wondering he was actually hearing the truth about how great Encompass was working so he went out to talk to some employees. I hope he got the real truth about just bad a new system it is. The CCA area alone has over 500 jobs backed up because they cannot get the parts they need due to the new Just In Time system. And my projects are are suffering due to it. We will now be extremely late on all deliveries and yet no one is telling upper managment the truth? Someone needs to step up and tell Val and Susan the god awful truth that L3 is dying! thanks for letting me unload.
