Steve I did it the hard way but i hate to stop about 6 months short of my getting an engeering degree. I came home late one night after going to college all night after woorking all day to, to discover my 9 year year old daughter was shot in the back while walking from school. There were no cell phones then and I came home to a note that told me to go to a hospital!! I freaked out and went to the emergency room to find (and this is not funny but she was shot in the back by anither 4th grade boy who was angry becuse my daughter threw a wet sock she found a wet sock she foung in Feburary in the gutter in
taylorsville. Thank God the bullet was blocked my a swearter and deep down parka so it only went in about 2 inches.
when she saw me she started to cry and begged me to be home at night and not always at school. i could not ignore her replies, so the next night I dropped out fron the U of U but L3 hired me anyway. I am a great engineer but I am afraid my lack of degree could mean I am going to get laid off. I have worked at L3 for 17 years now and I hate this not knowing. I wish L3 would just be honest with us all and let us know if we are safe or not. I really need a good nigts sleep as I go in at 6:00 am
