Working for aerospace contractors in Utah is interesting. It brings in diverse people from other states, quite often ex-military. Diversity is good. My first boss was an ex-fighter pilot and he hated Mormons. He told my lead that it was his goal to get me fired. I quit as I didn't appreciate the harassment and vowed to stay out of defense. Eventually, I found myself at L3. My manager was an ex-military import to Utah. I'll always wonder why I was chosen for layoff. But it was a non-mormon laying off a mormon. So for those who have posted on the mormon conspiracy issue, being one sure didn't help in my case, and in former companies, hurt me. Over 4 months now and not even an interview. Hope all goes well for you who are being demoralized by possible future layoffs.
