In the absence of guidance, make the best decision you can. The operation cannot come to a standstill. Try to imagine the second and third-order effect of your decision on those around and under you and the example you set for them. Use these times as a teachable moment for those that aspire to be like you. It's never to late to make a contribution or be a leader.
