Not surprising. The "vibe" in Ops has been bad for a while. Undercurrents of mistrust. Suddenly mgmt seems to be looking for scapegoats (ie. finger pointing). It feels like "lay-offs" (OH PUHLEEZE- THEY ARE FIRINGS!) are coming down the line. But I believe this plan was put in place well before the MK merger. The merger may just have been a means to an end....to speed things along. You certainly don't need a huge BCP if you don't have crucial employees in hurricane alley. St. Pete (IMHO) is going to look a lot different in a few years. Be it WireGrass or simply tumbleweeds blowing down the halls of the Towers. I don't think ops is wanted in Florida anymore.
