I got the boot yesterday after many years at CHK. This damn message board was a bright spot in the whole, long, drawn out process. Thanks all for the laughs.
While it sucks getting "seperated" (CHK's favorite layoff buzzword), I do feel sympathy for all the good folks left that now work for a joke of a boss with no experience or got passed over for a promotion so it could go to someone with no experience. While I'm still trying to get comfortable with the fact that I no longer work at CHK, I know it will get better and I'm pretty sure my lasting thoughts of the company will be of AKM saying "hi" on the sidewalk to everyone that passed him and of Martha taking employees drinks at one of the fortune parties.
