Like all Home Office initiatives, this is doomed to failure. All the people who had been sticking their fingers in their ears and chanting "la la la" while Follett went to hell in a handbasket the past few years, maintaining optimism and loyalty despite increasingly contradictory plans to save the textbook business, none of which were developed with input from people actually in the stores and which ultimately drove customers away... all those pollyannas can't possibly remain loyal after this. And I can't help but wonder if this is another company not willing to pay health care "because of the Afforable Care Act".
