Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Gone are the days..

Mary Lee and the hiding behind the telephone crew really have no clue about how to deal with the people that are the back bone of the company. I know of at least two people that would have gladly switched to part time rather than be laid off if the salary was the same or close. All they had to do was ask their management to seek out volunteers first. :/

Truth is, we all cared for this company in our own way but the extreme lack of respect shown by leadership for the people I know has left many of us dead emotionally for this dumpster fire of a company. This weekend I've been angry , I've cried, I've been depressed and I've reflected and I now go into the new week planning to treat this just the way you want me to: A job in a failing company where I will just milk this industry for every paycheck I can until it dies or I get the "conference call" treatment.

Follett folks simply need to Unionize and let them negotiate with the Union when they want to do things like this. The Follett of yesterday didn't require a Union but moving forward the Follett "ASS ociates" better get some protection.

Oh and Mary Lee. The next time you do a video please remember to iron your shirt. You are the leader of a 2.5 billion dollar company now ;)
