Thread regarding Follett layoffs

I agree that there's serious brain drain happening. Going back to March, the good folk started leaving on their own and it has been continuing ever since. Notice the good ones always have a lot of choice of where to go next. How long before a ton more work and zero reward or promotion or raise (and possibility of more downsizing)has the people we need most questioning why they're killing themselves for, when better opportunities are piling up outside their front door. Good and smart people always have options and these are the people leaving us. I'm not saying that there are none left but have we already lost too many to keep things alive. Remember that study that said that something like 80% of the work is done by the top 10% employees.....Smart employees don't just raise all boats, they carry and support them. I am worried about those of us left and praying for those who have been let go.
