Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

The California AG won't settle for chump change which keeps CCI operating "business as usual". If the matter settles then expect additional injunctive relief allowing CA to impose immediate sanctions on CCI upon failure to comply. A substantial part of the complaint is that CCI violated the 1997 settlement agreement. Expect a LOT of pleading challenges by CCI to throw out major parts if not the entire lawsuit. The case has been designated as complex by the court and most likely CCI is looking at a $1 Million+ legal bill with this case drawn out for years.
