The layoff in june was rediculious. 1 week prior an all staff meeting was held telling everyone there were financial issues, bit no layoffs coming inbthe near future. It was a lie we already had a list prepared. Over all the layoff was 10 precent. However it was close to 35 percent from the IT department. Something edmc has a habit of doing is micromanaging its employees and then delibertly over burden their employees so that they can terminate them for under producing. Were forced to follow this model. I would estimate that junes layoffs where around 300 people.
However layoffs were again conducted this week for an additional 400 people.
