Corinthian Colleges is facing a major lawsuit in the State of California (and possibly other states)after they were presented with inside information taht they were targeting vulnerable populations. If you have any documentation showing the same pattern at University of Phoenix/Apollo Group, you need to alert your chain of command (even if they are the ones telling you to do this illegal activity). From what I read in the annual statement, Apollo Group executives have been "imdemnified" in civil suits, but they can still be prosecuted criminally. People below this level may be held liable. If you are being harassed for not aggressively recruiting vulnerable people (veterans, women, people of color, people near or below the poverty line), you should let your chain of command know. Failure to do so may result in liability on your part, and prohibit you from collecting on any lawsuits you may have against the company.
