Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Another lie...

The biggest joke was the promise that 100% of the hours would be replaced for rush. Instead, the store I'm at had 80+ hours cut and I received a "that is your problem" type of response from the regional (sales are good.) I'm fairly sure the regional took those hours from my store to give to some other location or just wrote them out to fatten their own bonus. The hours list comes from Paul Div. but only after the regional does with it as they like. (Most folks don't know that as it's a way to deflect the blame from the regional to corporate.) I am at a point where I have had no choice but to remove 3 registers from my rush floor as there is no one left to run them and have virtually no one working on the sales floor. Without a doubt this will create long lines and raise questions by the college administration. I will not lie to the administration when asked why the lines were so long and will inform them of all of the payroll cuts. If we cannot afford $750.00 in extra payroll to properly staff our stores for rush we are all screwed anyway. I have no loyalty and no faith in this new leadership and refuse to feed a bunch of lies to the campus.

2014 Plan:

Get Bonus (Last real one before they essentially kill the sm/cmm program to a max 10-15%. I guarantee that this is coming next year and with many of us making bargain basement money this will be a death blow.)
